About Us

  • OLRA, or the Oak Lane Road Association, is a membership of property owners on Oak Lane, West Tisbury,  on the island of Martha's Vineyard, MA.  Collectively, we are 80 neighbors, sharing this lovely, quiet part of West Tisbury, just off Old County Road.
  • The ORLA Membership provides maintenance of our 1.5 mile road and the ten feet on either side, though annual dues, decisions taken in our annual meeting (July), and input from our neighbors as issues or events arise throughout the year.
  • OLRA is managed by an elected board of six members:  one surveyor, three assessors, one treasurer and one recording secretary.  Each board member is elected for a two-year term, and elections are held at the annual meeting.
  • The board meets monthly, and through local service providers, we meet the goals of:   preserving, building, and improving the surface of the road, pruning vegetation as needed, plowing and sanding during the winter months, and managing the OLRA budget to the specs approved by the membership at each annual meeting.

We invite you to stay informed and to inform us

Please provide your email contact information, to send us your comments and to hear from us on important updates and news. As important, we want your current contact information - some members remark that they do not receive OLRA email.
